She obtained her<strong> Ph.D. from the Department of Pharmacology &amp; Toxicology<\/strong> and her <strong>law degree from the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Raised in a household that upheld integrity, respect, accountability, and service, Chandrika believes in treating others with kindness while striving for excellence in her endeavors. She has a strong work ethic, effective leadership and a genuine commitment to helping others. Strong family values coupled with her educational foundation continue to guide&nbsp;her personal and professional journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Throughout&nbsp;her career and personal life,&nbsp;Chandrika has achieved several meaningful accomplishments both professionally and personally. Chandrika&nbsp;is actively involved in community service and regularly volunteers in community outreach initiatives, mentoring, and programs that promote education, health, diversity and community well-being. Giving back is an important part of&nbsp;Chandrika\u2019s&nbsp;mission to create positive and lasting change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Professional Career and Recognition<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chandrika started her legal career as a law clerk for her now partner, Michael Hance.&nbsp; She attributes a big part of her professional growth to Michael\u2019s guidance during her formative years as a young lawyer. She assisted Michael as a law clerk when he represented the family of a teenager who died following a tonsillectomy and was one of the lawyers in the team that obtained a verdict against a pharmacological company for the death of a new mother. Chandrika\u2019s educational background ably equips her to handle complex cases including medical care, skilled nursing care, as well as general personal injury matters with the necessary skill and knowledge.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chandrika is the <strong>President-Elect<\/strong> of the <strong>Kentucky Justice Association (KJA)<\/strong>,&nbsp;past member of the <strong>Kentucky Bar Association (KBA) Ethics Committee <\/strong>and <strong>Citizens for Better Judges<\/strong>. She is a speaker at the KBA Convention and KJA programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chandrika is admitted to practice before the&nbsp;<strong>Kentucky Bar Association<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky<\/strong>, the&nbsp;<strong>U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit<\/strong>, and the&nbsp;<strong>U.S. Supreme Court<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Personal Life<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chandrika deeply values family, friends and community.
